Project Overview
This project focuses on building a scalable, multi-platform streaming platform for on-demand and content across web, iOS, and Android.
The platform will include a secure content management system, hybrid monetization (free + subscription), multi-profile user accounts, and a data layer designed to track engagement, watch time, churn, and regional performance.
Built with scalability and performance in mind, the system is structured to support future expansion into live TV, live events, and additional markets.
The approach is for a production-ready launch today with a strong technical foundation for long-term growth and potential acquisition opportunities.
Scope of Work
1. Platform Scope
The platform will be developed as a full multi-platform streaming solution, designed to deliver a consistent and high-performance experience across web and mobile devices. The initial rollout will prioritize speed to market and stability, with a phased launch strategy that allows for rapid iteration and expansion.

2. Content Types
The platform will initially focus on high-quality on-demand content and controlled user-generated media, ensuring strong content standards while allowing for future expansion. To maintain platform integrity and brand quality, user-generated content will follow an approval-based model, enabling selected creators and partners to operate verified channels. Live TV and live event streaming are planned as a future phase once the core platform is established and scaled.

3. Content Ownership & Management
All primary content on the platform will be owned or licensed directly by the client, including original film productions. This ensures full control over distribution, rights management, and future monetization. Live TV content acquisition is planned for a post-MVP phase, with a target timeline around Summer 2026, potentially supported by the acquisition of a local TV station. The content management system will be designed to support current needs while remaining flexible enough to accommodate future broadcast and partner integrations.

4. Monetization Model
The platform will launch with a hybrid monetization model designed to balance user growth and recurring revenue. This approach enables broad market adoption through a free, ad-supported tier while offering a premium subscription tier for users seeking an uninterrupted viewing experience. The monetization structure is intentionally kept simple at launch, with flexibility to introduce additional revenue streams as the platform scales.
