Project Objective
Lalafo is looking to attract and train large volumes candidates to convert the best of them into high-performing junior sales managers, without overloading HR and team leads. We propose building a custom, AI-powered sales training and hiring platform that lets candidates complete the entire learning and simulation process directly from their mobile phones, while giving Lalafo a centralized desktop dashboard to review performance and select the best people.
By automating the early stages of training and technical screening, this platform will allow Lalafo to:
Reduce HR and trainer time spent on basic education, screening calls, and repetitive explanations.
Scale hiring to hundreds or thousands of candidates per month without a corresponding increase in headcount.
Improve candidate quality, ensuring that only people who already understand the product, process, and sales basics reach the final interview.
The result is a repeatable, data-driven pipeline that continuously sources, trains, and pre-qualifies junior sales talent while your leaders focus on culture fit and final hiring decisions.
Technical Details: Candidate Experience
Entry from social media:
Candidates access the platform via a link placed in Instagram ads or other social channels. The landing screen clearly explains that this is the official Lalafo Sales Manager training and application path.
Structured training path:
Candidates first go through a short training module on their phone, where they can:
Learn about Lalafo’s product and platform.
Understand how a proper sales call(scripts and objections) should be structured.
Get familiar with how Lalafo handles customers, tickets, and CRM-related processes.
This step is self-paced and can be completed at any time, without HR involvement.
AI-driven sales simulation in Russian:
After training, candidates enter a realistic AI-powered sales conversation in Russian. The AI plays the role of a customer and reacts dynamically, allowing Lalafo to test:
How candidates communicate and explain value.
How they handle questions and objections.
How professionally they conduct the call.
The simulation is designed to run smoothly on mobile devices, with simple controls and minimal friction.
Automatic scoring and feedback:
Once the simulation is complete, the system automatically:
Calculates an overall score (e.g., out of 100).
Breaks the score down by key criteria aligned with Lalafo’s standards (e.g., communication, objection handling, tonality, product knowledge).
Generates concise feedback in plain language that helps candidates understand their strengths and what to improve.
Multiple attempts and self-improvement:
Candidates can retry the simulation multiple times to improve both their skills and their score. This turns the platform into a training tool as well as a filter, reducing the need for Lalafo staff to do repetitive coaching at the very early stages.
Application submission based on score:
Once a candidate reaches or exceeds a configured threshold score, they can submit their result to Lalafo as part of their application for the junior sales manager role. At this point, the candidate:
Has demonstrated minimum required knowledge and skills.
Is ready to be evaluated on culture fit, values, and other human factors in a final, manual interview.
Technical Details – Admin Dashboard (Desktop)
On the Lalafo side, we will provide a desktop-based admin dashboard that consolidates all candidate data and makes it easy for Tatyana and her team to manage the hiring funnel:
Centralized candidate overview:
The dashboard presents a clear overview of everyone who has entered the training and simulation flow, including:
Number of candidates who have started and completed the process.
Overall distribution of scores and how many have passed the defined threshold.
This gives management a quick, high-level view of the funnel at any time.
Candidate list for efficient screening:
Admins can see a list of candidates with key information at a glance, such as:
Best score achieved.
Number of attempts.
Status (in progress, completed and passed, completed but below threshold).
This allows HR and hiring managers to quickly identify top performers and prioritize them for review.
Detailed view for individual candidates:
For deeper evaluation, each candidate has a detail view where admins can:
See the candidate’s best score and detailed breakdown by evaluation criteria.
Access the recording of the simulation (where implemented) and read the full transcript of what the candidate said (in Russian).
Review the AI-generated feedback the candidate received.
Configurable evaluation logic:
The system will be designed so that key evaluation parameters can be aligned with Lalafo’s specific needs, including:
The minimum passing score a candidate must reach before being considered.
The main criteria used for scoring (e.g., communication, objection handling, tonality, product knowledge) and their relative importance.
Whether candidates are allowed multiple attempts to improve their score.
Over time, these settings can be refined as Lalafo observes which patterns lead to successful hires.
