AEO & GEO Visibility Optimization Proposal
Prepared for

Date

Project Overview
Customer search behavior is shifting away from traditional search results toward AI-powered tools that generate direct answers and recommendations. Instead of comparing ads and links, customers are increasingly asking AI who to hire or which provider is most trusted in their area.
This project focuses on Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to position the business as a recommended answer within AI-assisted search experiences. By structuring the business’s content for clarity, authority, and AI readability, we increase the likelihood of the business being referenced or recommended when customers search.
The result is increased exposure to customers who are actively looking to hire, not just browse. Being recommended by AI typically means fewer competitors in front of the customer, higher trust before the first call, and a shorter path from search to booking, helping generate more qualified inquiries and more closed business without increasing ad spend.
Scope of Work
In-Depth Technical Details
1. AI & Search Visibility Assessment
What we do
Check what shows up today when people search your services and city on Google and AI tools
Identify which competitors are being surfaced and in what situations
Spot visibility blockers such as missing pages, unclear services, weak location signals, inconsistent information, or lack of FAQs
Create a baseline snapshot so we can compare before vs after
Why it matters
If systems cannot clearly understand what you do and where you operate, they will not surface or recommend your business.
2. Search & AI Intent Research
What we do
Identify the actual questions customers ask before hiring, not generic keywords
Focus on high-intent topics tied to buying decisions such as pricing, urgency, timelines, “near me,” comparisons, insurance, warranties, financing, and objections
Decide which questions are worth targeting based on business value
Map each priority question to specific pages that will be built or optimized
Why it matters
This ensures we build content around real buying intent instead of guessing what customers care about.
3. Website & Landing Page Optimization
What we do
Improve site structure so it is immediately clear what you do, who you serve, and where you serve
Build or improve the core pages that define your business:
Primary service pages
City or service-area pages where applicable
A clean and organized FAQ hub
Rewrite page content so it is specific, local, and easy to understand
Ensure pages clearly define services, coverage areas, and value proposition
Why it matters
Your website becomes the primary source search engines and AI tools use to understand and surface your business.
4. FAQ & Answer-Based Content Development
What we do
Write FAQs and answer sections based strictly on the questions identified in Section 2
Keep answers short, clear, and confident, no filler
Cover the questions that influence hiring decisions:
Pricing ranges and what affects cost
Timelines and process
Emergency situations
Warranty, licensing, and insurance
Common objections and misconceptions
Format content so it can be reused cleanly in snippets and AI-generated answers
Why it matters
This turns intent research into clear answers that help customers decide faster and improves eligibility for answer-based visibility.
5. AEO & GEO Technical Structuring
What we do
Structure pages so systems can easily extract and reuse content as answers
Keep terminology consistent across services and locations
Use proper headings, sections, and hierarchy so key information is not buried
Add structured data where it makes sense, especially FAQ schema
Remove ambiguity that blocks recommendations, such as vague service names or unclear locations
Why it matters
This is the technical layer that allows machines to confidently reuse your content as answers or recommendations.
6. Authority Signal Reinforcement
What we do
Make business details consistent everywhere that matters, including name, services, service areas, descriptions, and contact information
Align key external profiles so they reinforce your website instead of contradicting it
Prioritize channels that influence local trust signals:
Google Business Profile
Yelp and major directories
Bing Places and Apple Maps where relevant
LinkedIn business presence where applicable
Focus on consistency over volume, no spam listings
Why it matters
AI and search engines trust businesses that appear consistent, credible, and real across multiple trusted sources.
Scope of influence & Expectations
Influence
This work focuses on improving how search engines and AI systems understand and interpret your business. While no provider can control rankings or AI-generated outputs directly, we optimize the inputs these systems rely on to surface and recommend services.
What we actively optimize:
Clear service positioning and page structure
Eligibility for enhanced search results such as FAQs and featured answers
Alignment between customer queries and on-page content
Topical authority within your service category
Local relevance signals for your service areas
Contextual clarity
Removal of ambiguity that limits visibility
What we do not control:
Specific rankings or placement positions
Traffic volume or lead quantity
AI mentions or recommendations
“Page one” guarantees
Fixed timelines for improvement
Most clients begin to see improvements in impressions and visibility signals within 30–90 days, though results vary based on competition and existing site authority.
Expectations: How Success Is Evaluated
This project is set up so results are measured clearly for both sides. Since AEO and GEO are newer channels, performance is evaluated using a mix of visibility checks and real customer feedback.
To track progress, we will:
Manually check AI search results each month to see how visibility is changing
Review Google Search Console data, including impressions and snippet visibility
Compare before-and-after visibility across key search and AI queries
To make sure we can measure real business impact, we’ll also need your input. We ask that you simply ask new customers how they found you (AI search, Google, referral, etc.) and share that feedback with us. This helps connect online visibility to actual bookings.
The first three months are designed as a proving period to build authority and see how this impacts your business. Any work beyond that will depend on clear results that make sense for your service pricing and lead volume. This way, continued work is based on real performance, not assumptions.
